how do i remove dell quickset from taskbar when changing volume
When I hit the volume on my keyboard, the dell quickset pops in the taskbar. How do I remove that?
This never happened when I had Windows XP
shown here, notice the taskbar when the volume is pressed

Left click once on the QuickSet Icon, you should get a menu. Go Hotkey Popups>Disable On Screen Volume Meter.
At least it used to be this way. It may have changed. I do not have QuickSet on my notebook.

hey bay wolf, thanks for the reply.
i actually want to see the volume bar, its the tackbar window tab that pops up that i dont want to see. check out the video you can see it in the taskbar.

I'm sorry. I missed the little arrow pointing down. I'm not sure how to get rid of that. I don't ever remember this coming up before.
