I took Your advice regarding manual removal and manual installation of nvidia drivers and use it on Intel drivers as well.
As I wrote before after using automatic updates from Dell site I installed Intel Management Engine Interface Driver however Intel Manageability Engine Firmware Recovery Agent which appeared after installation was not able to check for updates. So I downloaded different drivers for Intel from Intel's site.
There was three of them: a bluetooth one, 3D one and one called Iris. First two didn't make any difference with error on my computer but last one - called Iris - did the trick. I shut down and opened computer couple of times since and igfxtray module error doesn't appear any more. So I think my problem is fixed.
The igfxtray module is part of the Intel graphics drivers and software packages. You may want to update your Intel video drivers and see if that helps resolve the problem.
Easiest way to do that is to go to the main Dell Support Pages, type in your service tag, and the pages will redirect you to the support pages for your Inspiron. Click on the Drivers & Downloads link and then look for the section with video drivers.
That should resolve the problem. If it doesn't, please let us know and we'll see what else we can do to help you.
I went to the page You pointed me to and after system analyse I installed:
BIOs update (successfully)
Intel Management Engine Interface Driver (however Intel Manageability Engine Firmware Recovery Agent which appeared after was not able to check for updates)
I installed as well recommended video drivers:
nVIDIA GeForce 750M Media Accelerator HD Driver
Intel HD Graphics 4000/5000 Driver
After first system restart screen looked so much better than usually and there was no error. However after another system start screen looked as it used to and igfxtray module error occurred again. When I analyse computer once more via Dell System Detect program, it seems that those video drivers as well as Intel Management Engine are still not installed.
So the driver updates appear to be the fix, we just need to find out now why the drivers are being removed. I assume your account on that system has administrative rights that allow you to install software? Have you run any Windows updates recently? Not sure if one of the Windows updates was for the video driver and Windows assumes it has the best one for your system, no matter what you're installing.
Lets try downloading the nvidia driver directly from their site and doing a manual install instead of the automated one that the Dell downloads page would do.
Assuming you're running Windows 8, 64-bit version, here is a link to the nvidia 353.06 driver, the newest one for the 750m video card. If you're not running Win8, or using the 32-bit version of windows, go to http://www.geforce.com/drivers and manually search for the drivers.
Like i said earlier, the drivers update appears to be what we need to do in order to fix your system, just need to figure out why it's being blocked, or removed. Lets try the above manual removal and install and see if that works.
I have MS Windows 8.1 64-bit. I did what You suggested:
removed drivers manually
download the latest nvidia drivers from the site
installed manually drivers
Strange thing that after mandatory restart I got no igfxTray Module error. When I restart computer again it was no error as well but when I turned off computer and then turn it on I've got igfxTray Module error again. I checked on list of programs and drivers I have installed are still there (haven't been removed or changed).
Have you tried running diagnostics on the graphics card to see if it returns any error codes? Seems weird that the error messages only come up when the system is powered on but not on a restart.
You can go to the Dell Support Home Page, type in your service tag, and be redirected to the pages for your system. You can find diagnostics there, and information on how to run diagnostics on your system.
Let's try ruling out hardware as an issue because I'm not sure what is going on.

Todd,
That was the first thing I did, even before I wrote here anything. Everything looks perfectly fine according to that diagnostic tool.
