Ok, a little more information please. What is the exact model of your system? And do you mean the system asks for a password when you first turn it on, not the Windows password?
If it is the system password when you first turn on the system, then the only way to access the system is to call Dell tech support. After you verify that you are the owner they can help you access the system.
