Are there E6440 models that are also available without AMD Radeon HD 8690M?
Are there E6440 models that are also available without AMD Radeon HD 8690M?
And if this is not the case, can the AMD Radeon HD 8690M be disabled in the BIOS or UEFI?

Yes, the system was available with integrated-only graphics.
Generally, you can disable the discrete GPU as well, either in firmware or under the operating system.

Meanwhile I found pictures of E6440 motherboards with and without AMD Radeon HD 8690M.
Now I'm still looking for a source that gives the weight of the E64040 with and without AMD Radeon HD 8690M. The chips will not weigh much, but the heatsinks are probably different.
The information I have found so far in manuals does not indicate which of the two models they refer to.

I don't think even with the larger heatsink required by the AMD GPU, the weight will be much different. There can't be more than a few grams' difference in them.

Some sources mean thats not possible the not used Radeon Graphic card by BIOS...
