Hi,

It seems my question was not read properly. I am getting private messages asking for diagnostic results. Please read my question carefully.

My requirement is this.

Create an windows executable file using Dell Command and Configure which triggers the Data wipe from BIOS in the next reboot. I asked the same in the question.

There is no problem in my laptop and my laptop is fine. So please stop asking questions about the diagnostics

I have replied to the direct message.

Note that I have posted two separate questions in this board.

Dell: Please stop mixing the two questions and sending me direct messages asking what I wanted to do. Please refer to the questions I have posted and keep the discussions separate.

My requirement for this question.

1. Make a windows executable file using Dell Command Config.

2. Double click the executable and it enables Data wipe in the Bios.

3. Upon next reboot Data wipe starts.

Dinesh,

If I understand your question(s) correctly, there is a way to wipe data from a drive or separate partition using Windows-based programs.  One such program is a free version of Mini-Tool Partition Wizard, which allows the user to select the desired partition and then wipe it.

I hope this information is helpful.

I work in an organization where people work remotely from different locations across the globe. So if one of the user leaves the organization, laptop is to be wiped clean. Now since the laptop is not physically with me, I cannot do it. The only way is to trigger a remote wipe. And using 3rd party utilities is not allowed. So only way left is to prepare a windows executable file and run it in windows so that it enables the Data wipe option which starts in the next reboot.

Does window's own RESET feature is Disabled by Admin Polices ?? This can be done remotely

What about adding a second account (admin) and Delete the old user account including files (this can be done remotely without a Reboot.)
