Dell Data Protection Encryption Problems with preboot

I have dell latitude e6530. i want to enable preboot security issue is when i installed dell data protection tools it is saying no self encrypting device is found? is my laptop lacking something it does not have contactless card. it has fingerprint and its working fine. i want to know how to enable preboot security?
