Display Port 2 on UD22 Universal Dock not working

I just bought a UD22 dock as well as three 27" QHD monitors model number Dell S2721D.  I work for Dell and I have a Latitude 5520 work laptop.

I wanted to get three 27" QHD monitors hooked up, but I can't because the dock has two DP ports and one HDMI port and the second DP port won't work.  No matter what I do, (switch cables, switch connections to monitors, and try a different laptop which is another Dell work laptop), DP2 won't work.  I even contacted support and got a new one.  Same issue with the same port.

What's going on?

Is that the DP port next to the HDMI port? Or the DP port next to the Ethernet port?

Next to the Ethernet port.  The USB-C/DP port at the end next to the USB ports doesn't work either.

Check you have the DisplayLink software installed. You can get it from https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/windows

For the USB-C video output recommend checking you have the latest BIOS and Graphics driver for your notebook installed

I have the same issue @themarkus42

Its the second port next to the ethernet port.
HDMI + DisplayPort1 + USBC/Laptop works fine.
DisplayPort1 + DisplayPort2 + USBC/Laptop does not work - (DisplayPort2 does not work).

Very frustrating.

For us Linux (Ubuntun 22.04 or Linux Mint 21.1) users, that Dell ud22 driver is not enough. You may not be able to install it successfully without reading this post first.

In my case, I had to do this first

sudo apt-get install evdi-dkms

 and then install the driver
