Is all of the RAM detected? Task Manager | Performance tab | Memory | in upper-right corner the total RAM is displayed.
There are free utilities that can tell you if all memory is detected and in dual channel. In CPU-Z | Memory tab | look in the field beside "Channels #". In Speccy | Summary |RAM | it should tell you whether it is Dual-Channel or not.
