E5470 slow on starting when not connected to our domain network .

I've noticed that when I take out my E5470 or any laptop from our network (connected by Ethernet) and do a restart. It takes forever to start and from the time you put your password to the desktop. NOTE: The WiFi is turned on and there are drives attached to the username. I'm guessing everything is getting loaded. However, when I login as an admin to our domain on Startup. It load very fast. I've tried disabling what I can in Startup but it's still very slow to start. This is happens in both Windows 7 and Windows 10 machine.

How do I make it it load faster? Or what Services do I need to disable to make it faster?

This is more of a Windows question than a Dell question and therefore probably better suited to something like the TechNet forums, but that's been an issue with Windows for years and it has to do with attempts to process Group Policy.  I don't believe there's a way to work around it by disabling startup items or services, and even if there were, you would probably end up breaking more than you fixed.

One workaround you can try if you're on Windows 10 would be to disable WiFi on the logon screen (before actually logging in) so that your system doesn't have a network connection when you first log in and therefore doesn't try to reach a domain controller to validate credentials, process Group Policy, etc.
