E6400 Pre-boot System Assessment keeps automatically running

Hello,

Upon turning on the computer there's a beep followed by a message saying "hard drive not detected" along with a prompt to run the pre-boot system assessment by pressing F5. After the end of the assessment the computer works fine but when I reboot the computer the same error message keeps appearing. Any suggestions?
