E7240 not booting up after RAM swap

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with my E7240. I recently had to swap memory and since then when I try to boot the system, I get RAM error in the form of 3 LEDs, the battery one blinking.

I'm using a Samsung 4GB M471B5273DH0-CH9 stick.

That RAM is 1.5V DDR3;  it is not compatible with the 7240.  Your system needs DDR3L (low voltage, 1.35V).

What happens when you put back the old RAM?

Unfortunately, I don’t have the original ram stick anymore.

Looking at the specifications of the Samsung stick, I can tell that it's compatible with both 1.35/1.5, am I wrong?

I looked again and actually it seems that it only works with 1.5V... Problem solved then. Thanks!
