When you installed Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, you very likely wiped out the recovery partition and any chances of getting through this with the minimum hassle.
You should have come here for advice before doing anything rash.
As far as I know Dell longer ships Windows 7 DVDs. I could be wrong.
