Key mapping for console redirection Mobile Precision 7540
Upgraded Dell Mobile Precision 7540 BIOS from 1.9.0 to 1.10.2. BIOS update was done while connected to Dock (mistake). Computer finished BIOS update, then attempted to re-flash for whatever reason and got stuck. Had to manually take out battery during stuck BIOS update. Now a message "Key mapping for console redirection" appears prior to OS boot and first 10 seconds of OS boot now appears different (shows the light blue Windows logo vs. before the Dell logo). Technical support has advised me to ship the computer back but wanted to see if anyone else had same experience?

You need to reinstall the BIOS, but don't use the dock, do this with the charger connected.
