L attitude 5400 No USB In Boot Menu

Question

I am trying to boot Macrium Reflect using a rescue USB.  I suddenly come to realize that I am unable to use any of my thumb drive tools in the pre windows environment.  There is o legacy option. In the Bios there is a place to check in order for a USB port to be recognized during boot, but no matter what I have done including changing to the default settings, I am unable to get a USB into the boot menu. I have the latest bios version. The manufacture date of this laptop was October 2019. Technical support could not help me and wanted me to pay for advanced support. (What else is new!?)
