Latitude 7200 2-in-1 camera does not auto-focus (user-facing camera)
Since receiving my Latitude 7200 2-in-1, the user-facing camera has always been out of focus (blurred) when using the camera as a webcam for conference/video calls.
I searched everywhere online for driver updates etc, but the driver is apparently part of Windows 10 Operating System so is up-to-date.
I recently realised that the focal length is set incorrectly - the camera is perfectly focused approx 25-45mm from the lens (an inch or two) - any further away than that and the image is blurred.
There is no way in Windows to manually adjust the focal length - and I can't find any resource online to fix this.
SURELY this is not a design flaw? - a webcam with a focal length of 25mm?! - so it must be an error somewhere - can anyone provide any insight or solutions please?

I had the same issue and the problem was the screen came separated from the front of the camera lens. Squeeze the screen and back together on the sides of the camera. Mine was trying to focus on the screen glass instead of the object past the glass. I have also had 2 more of the same unit where the lens has come detached completely so all you see is black.

Mlumb;
You are a genius! That worked perfectly! - who would have thought there would be such a simple solution?
Much appreciated.

I removed the screen bezel/surround to then try to clean the glass and lens. I realised that the glass itself is hazy.. I think there is plastic glued on to it, and the glue has just got old. So removing the glass completely that was stuck to the bezel/surround, and having cleaned the lens it all works perfectly (after 10 years).
I'm just going to use it without the tiny glass cover!
