Service tag installtion error, Battery issues

Question

Hi,   I'm facing a weird problem with dell latitude 3450 after installing brand new original battery. When powering on in displays following error message.   WARNING: If a Service Tag was just installed, you will need to shut the system down and unplug the AC adapter if present. Re-insert the AC adapter and power on the system to allow for proper functionality. WARNING: The battery cannot be identified. This system will be unable to charge the battery.   I even force updated bios to latest version, still didn't help.  But when I removed the battery, with direct connection all operations works normal. Is there any issues with battery? please help me!!!!   Thanks

There are probably issues with the battery. At approximately 4 years old the battery could be due for replacement. Run diagnostics (F12 immediately at boot) and watch for any battery error messages.
