Also, view Device Status Lights and LED Error Codes chart (Diagnostics) in the computer service manual in link below. This should help you determine what hardware is at fault.

Support for Latitude E6410 | Documentation | Dell US

And listen to the beeps and then view the beep codes chart in the link below:

Welcome to the Dell Community

Hold down the “ D “ key and power-on.

The laptop should go through an LCD test of solid White, Red, Green, Blue and Black 2 or 3 times.

After completion it should try to automatically boot 2 or 3 times.

Post any result.

Best regards,

Ok so what will it do after the LCD color changing is done? Idk if it turns of? Because when the color changing is done, I can still see a black screen. Is there a wait when the LCD color changing? And do I hold down ctrl+D or just press it one time.

Hope that makes sense, its hard to explain.

@rolot

If it showed the color change then you did it correctly.

After completing it tries to boot.

Since yours did not then there is one other thing you can do.

Try to reset the BIOS/CMOS.

Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the “Main” battery.

Remove the Base Cover.

Disconnect the “Coin-Cell” battery.

Connect the AC adapter for 5-10 seconds.

Then disconnect the AC adapter.

Connect the “Coin-Cell but do not install the "Main" battery. "Yet"

Turn the laptop over and open the lid.

Now connect the AC adapter.

It should try to automatically boot 2-3 times.

Post your results.

Best regards,
