"Enable USB Boot Support" BIOS option, Find registry key value in Win 10
I need to find the registry key in Windows 10 that will show if the "Enable USB Boot Support" option is disabled or enabled in the BIOS. Needs to be found while in Windows an not going to the BIOS.
This is for preventing USB boot while booting and before windows
I don't need to change it. I can use the dell command utility for this. I need to find if it is Enabled or disabled in the BIOS while in Windows

ncardine,
Please provide your system model number when posting a question on the forum.
If your system has a UEFI bios you must change the settings in order to boot to a USB. Below are some links that will help you resolve the issue.

To my knowledge, BIOS settings are not recorded in the registry. There is a Dell Command application (can't remember which one) that can be installed and can then query the BIOS to read and even change its settings, but I don't know if even having that application installed causes them to be recorded persistently in the registry.
