refusal to accept return
I ordered dell latitude 5401 by nov 11 due to some issues with the eway bill generation the laptop delivered by jan 04 2021. But once i started using the laptop it disappointed me as the loud fan noice, poor battery backup and my fibgerprint scanner is not working.
I called Dell to arrange the return of my new laptop. After being on the phone for several minutes, and being bounced between the technical service group and the return group multiple times, the final answer was i cant return the product. They didnt say the reason its just like i cant return the product and have refund for the same. Even though its just been 3 days after i got my laptop. First i want to know why cant dell accept the return request from my side and refund my money back.
I dont why its so hard to return a product which is under in the return date.

The return period (when a system is purchased direct from Dell) is 30 days starting on the date it ships, not on the date you receive the system.

Please take a look at this link, it's saying 14 days prior to the delivery date.

Those are consumer terms of sale. Latitudes are generally sold under business terms -- which don't usually carry return privileges.
