Looks like there is a problem is BIOS firmware that needs to be addressed.

A bug fix update would be nice...

Y'all I fixed my problem!!

When I scrolled down past this error alert, I saw a warning that my SATA was in RAID mode instead of AHCI. I rebooted (just typed ctrl+c then reboot), opened my BIOS, went into (I believe) system settings? Then SATA settings, switched from RAID to AHCI, saved and exited, and then my laptop booted no problem.

However, my situation may have been different than anyone else's. My laptop's battery drained overnight and reset its BIOS settings. I had to switch from Legacy back to UEFI to even get to this. Therefore, the problem might not have actually been that my BIOS was broken. But, hey, give it a shot, see if it works for you too.
