I come from Italy and also here xps 13 dev. ed. is not affordable on line anymore.

I used dell site web chat to ask some informations, and they told me there is an ongoing changing configuration.

Maybe they are going to set up ubuntu 14.04 as new default OS distribution?

Or better I hope they are resolving the well known coil-whine issue?

and will cost +200 euro more.

i have ordered but the problem is that i should to wait almost 1 month :emotion-6:

and os is still 12.04 developer edition.

Hi all,

Does anybody have an update on this?  I'm from the UK and I'm very much interested in purchasing an XPS 13 Dev. Ed. (After much research, it seems to be the best Linux laptop out there!) however it is not for sale online in the UK store. I am travelling in about 3 weeks, I was hoping I could have one in my possession before then.

I got an update from our team in Europe.  Currently the XPS 13 developer edition is available online in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.  It should be available again in the UK on Thursday and in the rest of the countries (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland) by the end of this week.
