Has anyone installed the touchpad firmware update for 9343?
There apparently was an update on October 5, 2015. Did it fix any issues for anyone? It can be seen here:

Thanks. I was thinking about the A07 (or even A06) BIOS upgrade:

Are there any experiences with that?

It's windows only, as far as I know.

I've been using the A07 BIOS for a few days with Ubuntu 15.10, kernel 4.2.0-22, and haven't had any problems.
Dell's notes say "Improves double-key issue". I didn't have a problem with this before (maybe just not a fast typer), so I haven't noticed any difference from A05. (A06 was never released, I think).
It also says, "Support for Ubuntu PTT feature". I guess that's push-to-talk? Not sure. I don't know exactly where I would see that feature, so again, I can't comment.

PTT is Intel Platform Trust Technology. It's Intel's TPM 2.0 implementation that runs on the Intel Management Engine ("firmware" TPM). The BIOS change is enabling this feature when the OS reports an ACPI _REV of 5.

I have switched to libinput, following Barton's instructions here: http://bartongeorge.net/2015/09/30/alternate-touchpad-configuration-for-xps-9343-developer-edition-running-ubuntu-15-04/
I'm running 15.10, and so far it work perfectly. In 15.10 there is no need to compile it yourself, you can install it with
If earlier you put a .conf for the synaptics driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d don't forget to remove it. Otherwise the synaptics driver takes over.
