New XPS 13 Sputnik 4
I could not wait until the release of the new XPS 13 with Ubuntu. So I purchased it and installed Ubuntu 14.04 myself. If Sputnik 4 for the XPS 13 is released how can I install it on my machine?
Kind regards
Matthias

They will probably release an ISO image of the newest Sputnik release, and you should be able to flash it to a USB drive like any other Linux install and go from there. Check out UNetBootin unetbootin.sourceforge.net

Sorry I can not share any experience with dual boot. My first action was cleaning the disk. :emotion-2:

Hey Matthias,
I am planning to also install Ubuntu 14.04 myself. I'm a Ubuntu newbie, though. Can you tell me where I would get all the right drivers?

Hey Chris,
all drivers were coming with Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop. If your XPS has an intel wifi installed the installation is straightforward. With a broadcom card you can follow the instructions here. Consider to update the BIOS.
More informations about the new XPS13 2015 you may find in the blogs of
