Super Key not functioning

Just got me a new XPS 13 Dev edition and so far all is working correctly... except the Super Key doesn't call up the Unity dash or activate the toolbar.

I installed CompizConfig and under Ubuntu Unity Plugin, Launcher section, the "Key to show Dash..." is set to disabled. When I try to enable it and set it to Super, it recognizes this briefly (" " is displayed) and then reverts back to Disabled. Ditto with any other key setting I try to change to Super.

Anyone know what is going on here?

BTW, nice that we now have a way to configure what is Function and Alt Function!
