Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo) on XPS 13?

Has anyone tried updating to 19.04? If so, how did it go? I'm tempted to take the plunge...

I'm too lazy to re do everything so I just clean install alongside Windows 10.

Works fine for me.

Upgrades have always been buggy for me so I always clean install

Thanks for your reply. Does all of your hardware work with DD? I'm hoping that the Dell-specific drivers won't cause any problems after an upgrade.

I'll probably do a full-disk backup and then upgrade as opposed to a clean install because I'm hoping not to have to put that much time into it. If the upgrade fails or I have issues later, then I can try a clean install. My system is actually working just fine as it is, so I'd mostly be upgrading out of curiosity.

Which begs the question: have you noticed any improvements with DD, or is it essentially the same (and perhaps not worth the effort)? I used rolling Debian unstable for years, so all this stability and lack of drama is unfamiliar to me. But maybe I should just get used to it...

Has anyone tried 19.10 on an XPS yet? I'm still on 18.04 because I need a stable system, but I'm feeling the itch. Plus I've had some minor issues (freezing on sleep, bluetooth disconnecting or driver not found until I reboot), but mostly I'd really like to try out the latest Gnome and kernel.
