I received the XPS 13 a few days ago and experienced a lot of problems with you should expect from a laptop which costs over 1500 euro's. The following issues I could fix myself. Maybe this feedback helps other users. I couldn't connect with a WPA2 Enterprise AP with the OEM installation. Had to upgrade all packages first using a different AP. apt-get update && apt-get upgrade ended up in a conflict. I had to remove libc6-dbg:amd64 first to continue the upgrade. on boot network manager didn't start. It tried to configure a non-exsting interface eth0. I removed /etc/network/interfaces.d/eth0.cfg to solve this problem. The following problems still exist: It is impossible to list and connect to an access point on channel 12 or 13 Trackpad glitches I could fix, but right click doesn't work anymore. Suspend errors on boot Especially the wifi problem is pretty annoying. On one location I depend on an access point which is configured on channel 12. Is this a configuration problem or a driver problem?

Justin, I still haven't contacted by a Dell Expert. Can you please look into this? A few weeks later and this is the current status: The keyboard issue is gone. Only rarely the freeze problem after suspend returns. The touchpad get stuck at scrolling very often when I use the 2 finger scroll. The screen goes black randomly. Have to go to tty1 and back to resolve the problem. Still can't connect to Wifi channel 12 and 13.

I am fairly certain the panics are due to something with the wireless driver. I do not have sleep/resume panics at all anymore. However as soon as I start changing wireless settings (SSID, IP) I get a kernel panic within a minute.

I can confirm that the firmware update resolved the problem with the keyboard and the repeating key.

I can also confirm that the suspend problem only incidentally returns, but for most of the time I don't have any problems.

I also don't have any wifi problems, except for I still can't connect to channel 12 and 13.
