XPS 13 (9350) keeps freezing with openSUSE and kde 5
I just got a new xps 13 (9350) and installed openSUSE 42.1 Leap on it, however, it has this bad habit of freezing completely if I'm just browsing the web or opening a file. The only way to recover is to do a hard reset.
I've blacklisted the mei and mei_me modules and swapped out the broadcom card for the intel 7265, but it still hangs on occasion which is annoying.
Has anyone encountered and been able to resolve this issue?

Same problem here on Kubuntu 15.10 with Plasma 5.4. System usually freezes after a few hours. If I'm playing audio at the time of the freeze it just repeats the last second or so indefinitely. Doing SysRq + RSEIUB also doesn't work anymore at that point.

I actually was able to resolve most of my issues by upgrading to the latest mainline kernel (4.4 I believe). I'm still getting some screen flickering (mainly during the slide animation when switching desktops or when the power off menu is shown) but I can live with those. Really liking plasma so far...looks awesome with the infinity display!
