yer I guess your right, i did double check with them and they said it was a custom configuration based upon my account being a business account, but still very sceptical.
I have an i7 FHD 9360 with 8 gigs of RAM. I actually got it from Dell's refurbished sales site for a really reasonable price. It seems like they get a lot of interesting configurations there, actually. I'd say it's definitely worth looking into! I love mine and I haven't had any issues that I haven't been able to solve through these forums or the Arch wiki.
Keep in mind that the stock changes constantly. So if you find one you like, it's not guaranteed to be there while you decide to pull the trigger.
Also, I just noticed you mentioned you'd like to credit the sputnik team. I don't think it's likely you're going to find one with this config on the refurbished site. I wish I could have given them my "vote" as well, but I'm completely happy with how my machine turned out, and many of their changes to upstream to Ubuntu iirc. Hopefully they take these forum posts as gratitude.

You can get i7/16 RAM/512 SSD with HighDPI and set it to FullHD to match IDE settings :)

Dell Sales have just sent me a quote for XPS 13, i7, FHD, Ubuntu Config, can this be correct? , i would love it to be or have they made a mistake?

I'd say unlikely, but not impossible - at least there is a i7 FHD configuration with Windows (CNX93603), although only 8GB RAM...
So the quote might be "without operating system, install Ubuntu yourself :-))"
