XPS 9343 upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04
I have an XPS 13 9343 with the shipped 14.04 and bios A04. I switched the Broadcom card for an Intel 7265.
Everything is working fine and I'd like to keep it that way but I have to upgrade cause I'm using this laptop to develop apps that are deployed on a server that has just been upgraded to 16.04.
Anybody can report a successful upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04?

I have the 2014 model XPS 13 (9333). It came with Ubuntu 12.04. I first tried the auto-upgrade to 14.04 and it crashed.
After that, I have done clean installs to 14.04, 15.04, 15.10, and 16.04. The clean install has always worked without a hitch. Just be sure to backup first, and to verify your backup. :)

Thanks for the answer. A clean install has been reported as working by several people.
I'd realy rather upgrade if possible. I don't care about the data but reinstalling/reconfiguring the whole dev environment takes aleways so much time.
Anyone has tried to upgrade a 9343 from 14.04 to 16.04?
