alsa-base.conf and noise headphones

Can someone share with me the contents of  /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf in Ubuntu 16.04.

I don't know why but a week ago I got soundcard lost. I have been able to make the system detected it again but there is a terrible static noise using headphones...

I'm afraid it is a missing configuration option. I don't know? Is there any way to configure sound card from scratch?

I finally get it working just adding the following snippet to the existing file.

options snd-hda-intel model=dell-bios

I know this is late, but I thought I would provide the file contents for you, because my file for my XPS doesn't even include the options line you have posted above, so it might be worth taking a look at.
