stuttering of Ubuntu logo on shutdown has been fixed

When shutting down, the Ubuntu logo used to stutter (quickly move from one spot to another). This has been fixed somewhere! I don't know if it is because of a kernel update or a different update, but it is much smoother!

(we normally post bad news and complaints here. I just wanted to post some positive news!)

I would be curious if anyone know which update exactly fixed this.
