xps 13 9350 Developer edition (Ubuntu 14.04) lagging interface

Hi, A couple of weeks ago I bought the Skykake's version of the xps 13 developer edition (9350) replacing my 2013's developer edition.  So far, it has not been a good experience since the mayor issue I am experiencing is a random lag in the UI. Randomly (I have not been able to find a reproduction pattern), the UI starts adding a couple of seconds of lag from when I click on something and the response in the screen. Everything in the screen acts slower. Rebooting the machine fixes this temporarily but then the issue comes back. Is there anybody else experiencing this issue? Note: I am using preinstalled ubuntu 14.04.4 and latest Bios (1.3.3)   I can

i5 FHD here. I have not noticed general issues with the UI. I installed Firefox and it lagged really hard but nothing else really made problems. Did you try a factory reset?

Same issue (random lags). Reproduced during web browsing, movies, moving files. No issues when dual-booting into Windows 10.

Am running 13" 9350 DE config'd as i7/16gb/512 PCLe w/ factory 14.04 LTS + ran all updates + BIOS 1.3.3
