Debian / Ubuntu on Inspiron D630

Hi guys, I've just got D630 with Intel X3100, Intel 3945 WiFi, and Dell 360 Bluetooth. I am trying to install Debian (Ubuntu parent system). After looking on the net I found very little information on this topic (due to novelty of D630 I guess). Why don't we create FAQ over here on how to install Debian/Ubuntu on D630?

Intel X3100: Option 1: Install xserver-xorg-video-intel package (from Debian unstable or Ubuntu 7.04). Make sure it is 2.0 release as the previous one is buggy. Option 2: Compile you own Intel driver after downloading this http://intellinuxgraphics.org/download.html and following this http://intellinuxgraphics.org/install.html Problem 1: Banding is present. Seems to be a bug. Problem 2: No 3D (glx) support. Did anyone fix this?
