[Dell Latitude E6440] Suspend not working with AMD hybrid graphics

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask whether any owner of that specific laptop has got the same problem as me getting suspend to work on the official Ubuntu 12.04.2 installation. Also tried Debian and Fedora (with more recent kernels) without success.

The problem is detailed in the following bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-quantal/+bug/1272933

Have you gave much thought in using the 32bit version of Ubuntu, your system supports 32bit OS.

I have already mentioned in the bug report that I have followed the **official** Dell instructions, including using the official Ubuntu 12.04.2 DELL image AND the official driver pack.

I don't believe that using a 32 bits instead of a 64 bits image will solve a non-working suspend. Besides, my system is equipped with 8GB of RAM so 32 bits, even with PAE, is out of the question.
