Dell Resource CD, linux installation

Question

this might be a really stupid question, but... i am about to put fedora core on my 600m. can't i use the Dell Resource CD that i was given to install all of the necessary drivers? i know that one exception is for my wireless card, but for everything else will the CD be enough? thanks.

The Dell-provided CDs does not contain any device drivers for Linux.   A good place to look for notes on installing Linux on laptops is http://www.linuxlaptops.org/. For Linux on Dell laptops see  http://tuxmobil.org/dell.html.
