Dell_X02 and upgrades

I bought a Dell Inspiron 1545 about six months ago and the first thing I did was trash Microsoft Vista and install Ubuntu..  At that time I think Dell offered Linux in version 8.10 while Ubuntu was up to 9.04.  I've kept abreast of Ubuntu and Kubuntu and their problems with WIFI until I finally had to give up or find something better.  On a forum in Ubuntu for Dell I found a reference for version 9.04 with a Dell recovery disk.  I followed my nose and found the 9.10 version before they pulled it and downloaded it.  I'm in love with this version.  You should make it available to all your computer owners.  I have upgraded it with Kubuntu Desktop and KDE 4.3.3 and it is spinning a cube on my desktop.
