Within the BIOS, enter the
Integrated Devices category and change
USB Emulation to
On. Then, after saving your changes and rebooting, ensure the keyboard is connected to one of the primary USB ports, located adjacent to the NIC connector (rather than directly beneath it). The keyboard should now function after POST, but before an operating system has initialized the USB root hub.
