Grub File In Fedora Core 2
Hi, I am trying fedora core 2 and so far I love it. It even recognized my wireless keyboard/mouse via usb setup right off the bat.
But I want to change the default loading partition. And I want to cahge which OS is at the top of the list. Someone told me where it was under mandrake but fedora core 2 is different. If someone could tell me where that grub file is I would be most greatful!!!!!
Danke!

There is a default=X entry that counts X starting from 0. In other words, the first OS you list is considered 0, the next one is considered 1, etc.

So far I am loving Fedora Core 2. It has a "My Computer" tool that allows you to explore your drives and It is really making it an easier transition from windows. I am still having trouble getting stuff installed but I am slowly figuring it out. I bought some Linux for dummies books and they have helpped me get things up and running so far.
I am still amazed that it recognized my wireless keyboard/mouse (from Dell) right off the bat with out me even having to configure anything. I still haven't got the wireless internet working but the ethernet is going great. Linux is a little slower than windows but When I add more RAM that wont be a problem either.
I am almost considering going all the way over to linux, and just keep my gaming box windows. Does norton ghost work in backing up linux partitions if you boot from cd and use the PC DOS?
Other than that everything works Great!!!!!!!!!!!
