How can I set 1280x800 for dell 700m?

I installed ubuntu 7.04 to my dell 700m,  the resolution is set to 1024x768 instead of native resoultion of the display 1280x800. in the xorg.conf file, it shows 1280x800, but the resoultion actually is set as 1024x768. the chip set is intel 82852/82855 for 700m, here is the xorg.conf, how should I modify this file? thanks

you need to install the 915resolution package.

Did you try this, as stated on the config file:
 
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
#   sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
 
It looks to be already set-up for 1280X800 here:
