I think you are right. There is a registry direction at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CyberLink\InstantOn" that points to the source for the linux boot. So now I think I need to get it redirected.
The only way to do this is to do a registry edit,setting the instant on,to start in Linux.
You will have to goolge how to do this with Linux.
EDIT:Basically all you do is search thru your registry to the Instant On key,and then you will have to find out how to edit it to set it to open Linux.
