Inspiron 3670, Ubuntu, no bootable device found

Question

Hi everyone, I installed ubuntu in legacy mode (since the option to install Ubuntu in UEFI mode was not popping) along with windows 10. However, it did not load after booting and all I could see was windows 10. I reinstalled ubuntu, erasing the disk this time, formatted both HDD and SSD and removed all the partitions. However, even after this, it is not booting. The dell support after checking discs says 'no bootable device found'. Also, I tried boot-repair options of Ubuntu but that too did not work. Kindly help me fix this. I can not add new options in UEFI boot. it says 'files not found'. I am completely stuck. Please help me out.

There is no free Ubuntu support here.

You can install Live Ubuntu onto a USB flash drive with CASPER Persistence partition.

YOU CANNOT LEGACY BOOT this model with an internal drive. You can F12 legacy boot an ubuntu usb Flash drive as long as you are using a USB2 port. Neither Windows 10 nor Ubuntu will install correctly from USB Flash Drive via a USB3 port.

You must use UBUNTU 12.04.5 or higher and Secure Boot ON with UEFI.

Ubuntu will not be able to clean the windows 10 MSR or UEFI partition.

You will have to nuke the drive clean or use another machine with windows 10 and DISKPART to clean the drive.
