Inspiron 7559 with i7 Linux fan control problem
Hello.
I have Dell Inspiron 7559 with i7 cpu. I've noticed problems with fan control on Linux (I've tried many distros and kernels from 4.4 to 4.6.2, run it on nvidia or intel gpu only, but the problem is the same). Once the fans are started to spin, they are spinning forever even when the system is cooled down (cpu and GPU has about +30C for more than hour). On the same machine on Windows 10, fans are switched off when the system is cooled down. I've tried to config it using pwmconfig which could stop and speed up the fans during the configuration, but after saving config to /etc/fancontrol it did not help at all and fans are still spinning. I've found that setting acpi_osi=(Windows||Linux||!Wiindows 2012) on grub might help, but after various attempts and settings it did not help at all. Could you please anybody help me to configure this fancontrol or help me to setup it with behavior as like as on Windows 10 is or make a patch for kernel/driver or whatever... I need Linux (not in VM) for my work and it is really disturbing once the fans are started to spin even at the speed at 2k rpm and I need to be focused on my work. Thank you.
Here is the screenshot of psensor after 2hours of idle system.

@spac3m0nk3y seems until you do not mention Windows and HW bug then no one from Dell notices this thread. Or maybe to start new thread would help. Anyway, I'm done with the Dell brand for all, no matter what and nobody could persuade me to buy another Dell HW anymore, just because of this! And I'm spreading the word among my friends too. Let's say I'm pretty *** off (and I guess not the only one) with this.

I would like to know how to disable bios fan management on a Dell Inspiron 7000 series (7737).
The only thing I was able to find in the BIOS remotely related was Intel SpeedStep. Toggling seemed to have no effect.
It has the Intel® Core™ i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz × 4
