Mandrake 10.2 install -> lost boot options(?)

Hi,

I finished installing Mandrake 10.2 on a new dell 170L optiplex with win XP pro preinstalled.
Everything works nicely; both linux and windows boot.

However, Mandrake installed lilo, and so I lost some Dell boot possiblities (which I had seen "pop-up" before at native boot time, but I never really looked at them).
Also, F12 at boot-> bootmenu with option7: utility, but this jumps to the standard lilo menu.

I did an fdisk print in linux; I discovered a "de", i.e. dell, partition on /dev/sda1.
So I added this entry to lilo and ran it; I booted just fine in to some type of Dell diagnostics tool.

My question: is there anything else that I have lost:
e.g.:
* are there any other boot-possibilities natively installed on this system, that have now gone ?
* do these systems come with some type of WinXp/MBR-boot repair utility (can not find it) ?
* can I repair the MBR myself: i.e. with "lilo -u" ?  will /boot/boot.0800 contain the original MBR?

Any other comments appreciated,
thanks, bye.
