Mouse Broken after Updates - XPS13 (9343) Ubuntu 14.04

Updates at the end of Feb broke mt sound.  My fooling with it and 2 updates @ 3/4 got the sound working, but broke the mouse(s).  The culprit is "synaptic-i2c-hid-3.13.0-32-backport driver in DKMS format".  If I disable it, any mouse works, but the TouchPad doesn't.  With it, the TouchPad works, but thee mouse won't.  How do I fix this?
