When will Dell support the factory shipped TV tuner card under Linux? Dell wants to ship desktops with Ubuntu? Great idea, but make sure you support all the hardware :-)

The dutch on-line support by the name of Barth de Boer, says Dell will only support this card under Windows Vista. I wonder if this is really the case or that he's just unwilling to look into it. Neither AVerMedia nor Dell wants (or is able to) tell me what chipset is used in de M779. Is there anybody (with a brain) that does know how to get this card to work under Linux?

Ot.
As the M779 won't work for me correctrly under Vista anymore, I seriusly want to trash Vista. As stupid I was that I didn't make a full backup/ghost of my disk. :smileysad:
