Vostro 1520 with linux

Hi, I have Vostro 1520 with vista 32 bit OS and now i want to get linux Os instead of windows,

i do not know whether Linux OS is compatible with Vostro 1520 and which version i can install on my labtop.

please tell me which versions of linux in compatible with labtop.
