Will PC Restore remove Ubuntu installation?

I have a Dell Studio XPS with Vista Ultimate.  I installed Ubuntu 9.04 with no issues.  I now want to completely remove Ubuntu.  I only used the laptop to experiment with Linux, so a complete restore to factory condition would be fine with me.  The question is whether the Dell PC Restore function completely restores the hard drive to original factory condition.  This is a technical question: I need to know if PC Restore both fixes the Master Boot Record back to the original state (thus removing GRUB), and then reformats the hard drive to eliminate all the Linux partitions and restores the original full sized Vista partition.  The online Dell instructions seem to indicate yes, but I'd really appreciate hearing from someone who knows this for a fact.  What I fear is doing a PC Restore that leaves all the Linux stuff intact, thus really messing up the laptop.  Thanks for any help--trb456
