Installing Linux on laptop

Hello

I have a dell INSPIRON N5110 and since i go college I need linux on my laptop because i have to do shell programming according to my curriculum.

I need help to download Linux on my Laptop.

I contacted Dell Support but they said that my laptop does not have drivers for Linux OS.

And also my system had crashed when i previously installed RED HAT Linux on my laptop.

So please give me a solution

I bought a dell inspiron 5110 laptop with zorin lite OS installed on it. It is a linux distro based on ubuntu and is extremely easy and light on resources. It worked good but I had trouble getting it to hook to my printer eventually got it to but still haven't figured out how to use the other functions of the printer like scanning using apps on my laptop. Just recently I can't connect to wifi. From looking in forums I suspect it's my wifi adapter card. I am still trying to figure out how to download drivers from dell to it to eliminate drivers from being a possible cause of my connectivity problem. Hopefully this may be something you can try.
