1800FP Driver

Question

I'm having a strange problem with installing the 1800FP drivers after the installation of the Video Driver. I'm automating the installation of drivers in the build process for 100s of computers using dual 1800FP display. I'm using the devcon utility from Microsoft to automate this        http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=311272 We ordered about 10 monitors for development and QA in our area. When using the devcon utility to identify the monitors it shows up as the following 'DISPLAY\DELE000\' The monitors that were recently ordered are showing the following hardware identifier.'DISPLAY\DELE002\' Are there 2 different models of Dell 1800FP? Why is the discrepancy in the hardware identifier for the same monitor?

Thanks for the quick answer , but It doesn't help much. I have the driver for the monitor ..... I need to know why the Dell monitor is being reported with 2 different Hardware Identifiers ?

If you go to the driver page it states 'Fixes and Enhancements Adds support for the later production 1800FP chassis. It is also backwards compatible with the earlier production 1800FP chassis'.  Also if you go to the specifications page at  you will see under the Resolution heading 'Vertical scan range55 Hz to 85 Hz (automatic) - Early Production55 Hz to 75Hz (automatic) - Later Production' So yes there are two different versions of the 1800FP. And why does a Dell Moderator not know that information? It seems very obvious that there was something different with the monitor hardware when two different numbers were displayed even with the same model  # of monitor. The software utility was seeing something different with each monitor.
