If you go to the driver page it states "Fixes and Enhancements Adds support for the later production 1800FP chassis. It is also backwards compatible with the earlier production 1800FP chassis". Also if you go to the specifications page at you will see under the Resolution heading
"Vertical scan range 55 Hz to 85 Hz (automatic) - Early Production 55 Hz to 75Hz (automatic) - Later Production"
So yes there are two different versions of the 1800FP.
And why does a Dell Moderator not know that information? It seems very obvious that there was something different with the monitor hardware when two different numbers were displayed even with the same model # of monitor. The software utility was seeing something different with each monitor.

Thanks for the quick answer , but It doesn't help much.
I have the driver for the monitor .....
I need to know why the Dell monitor is being reported with 2 different Hardware Identifiers ?
