1901FP Screen Images Bending Problem?
Hey, I just got my Dell 1901FP today and hooked it up to my GeForce4 Ti4200 with DVI at the monitor's Native resolution, but the image it produces seems odd to me.
The problem is that the top and bottom parts of the image produced on the screen appear to be bent (or pinched) inward towards the center of the screen. Similar to a CRT when not properly setup. It is most visible in the colored Title Bar and Taskbar on Windows XP Pro. Any ideas what is going on? It's not major, but I had hoped a LCD of this caliber wouldnt bend images like my old CRT did...
Note that the colors and text on the monitor look superb! Very happy as far as that goes.

Ah, yeah, I was afraid it was just something like that, my mind playing tricks on me. lol
And yeah, I have tried and just about anything, other than fully maximized, seems perfectly square. I guess my eyes will just have to adjust. Thanks for the quick reply.

Some have experienced the 'illusion' of a curve on a perfectly flat LCD screen compared to their prior experience viewing a CRT with a screen that actually IS curved.
If you size a window down, so the edges are close to the edge of the screen, is the alignment straight on all 4 sides? If so, it could be that you're just not used to viewing a perfectly flat screen.
